Priya has an extensive background in serving individuals with disabilities. Her focus has been developmental disabilities and acquired brain injury with attention to behavior planning and training of rehabilitation professionals. In addition, Priya has experience in vocational evaluation and implementing and conducting continuing education programs for other professionals in the human services field. Throughout her career, Priya has maintained her commitment to providing the highest level of quality while meeting the cultural and spiritual needs of the people we serve. Priya continues her lifelong continued education while pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education.

Don began his career in Human Services over ten years ago, serving people with Developmental Disabilities, Visual Impairments, and Traumatic Brain Injury. Since the inception of the TBI Waiver in NY State in 1996, Don has had the opportunity to begin two programs. Don has a warm sense of humor and personal insight of traumatic brain injury. He uses this gift to maintain a positive mission in serving individuals with acquired brain injury.

Chris has been working with individuals with traumatic brain injury since 2000, and 12 years of experience in human services, previously serving individuals with developmental disabilities and substance abuse related disabilities. Chris’ passion is assisting people with dual diagnoses, particularly in the areas of substance abuse and mental health. Chris is actively working towards his PhD in Counselor Education and is using his research to identify cutting edge rehabilitation approaches at New Frontiers in TBI.

Julie has over a decade of career experience working with adult populations of individuals who have acquired brain injury. Training staff is her “second heartbeat”. She has significant experience in continuous quality improvement and program management in multiple facilities (post-acute active and long term rehabilitation, residential and community-based environments) in the United States and Canada. Julie sits on the advisory board for Hilbert College Rehabilitation and Disability Studies Program.
